"This report makes it more important than ever that we get past outdated, anachronistic views of marijuana," said John Walters, director of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy.I've been reading FUD like this for years, yes, it's a lot more potent due to indoor growing and advanced techniques developed over the years, but there's no research that says higher potency causes psychological, cognitive and respiratory problems.
The US Government believes the increase in potency is down to sophisticated growing techniques used by drug traffickers.
He said baby boomer parents might have misguided notions that the drug contains the weaker potency levels of the 1970s but said it can cause psychological, cognitive and respiratory problems, and lead users to "harder" drugs such as cocaine and heroin.

marijuana is getting
marijuana is getting stronger each week and the us governmet knows quote "believes" that the increase in potency is now much stronger because the us government grows the indoor weed they have this MASS MEDIA fooling everyone .... im not fooled i think that as long as weed keeps getting stronger it wont do any bad in the world. I mean atleast heroin isnt getting stronger each week that would do the world some bad. Right?
This is probably my biggest
This is probably my biggest pet peeve argument. It's so many of the people who smoked in the "hippy era" trying to justify cracking down by saying it's not the same thing as it was back then just because it's more powerful. I mean, really. So we have to inhale less smoke to get high? And this is a bad thing.
